This is a safe space for people who know literally nothing about coding, building websites, or what the heck a website template is. So if you’ve been looking for someone to explain how website templates work like you’re besties (with impeccable taste and a sophisticated eye for design), you’ve found your people!
Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we get:
How does a template work?
We create the page layouts, ensure all the technical aspects work, and create a luxe, cohesive aesthetic with strategy that converts. Then you get to go in and add your own logo, images, words, and colors. You can customize your website template further if you want, but you don’t have to. It’s like getting a custom website without the custom price tag – we do the heavy lifting and you have fun!
What platform are the templates built on?
We use Showit.co – a drag-and-drop website platform specifically made for creative entrepreneurs. In fact, it was created with photographers in mind!
What do I get when I purchase?
There are certain font licenses you may need for your specific website template. Be sure to check the FAQ’s section on the templates product page for more details. You’ll also get step-by-step video tutorials that show you how to install and customize your website template. The only other thing you’ll need to make the site look great is your photography.
Do I have to know techie stuff?
Nope! Our tutorials are made for people with frequently asked questions and no prior knowledge of web design and website templates. You won’t be doing any coding – just drag and drop it like it’s hot.
Does it come with a blog?
Oh for surrrreee! Blogs are one of the most important ways to showcase your work, and Showit has a super easy integration with WordPress – the most popular blog platform in the world. It’s super easy to use and creates a seamless experience for people who visit your website.
Will I need to buy anything else?
Our templates are all a one-time cost – it’s yours forever. But you will need a ShowIt subscription, which ranges from $19-34/month depending on your needs. If you haven’t already, you’ll also need to purchase your own domain and domain hosting via a registrar (like GoDaddy or Google Domains). Once your site is launch ready, we’ll show you how to connect those dots to make your site live!
